FIBARO Bypass

The FIBARO Bypass is used with the FIBARO Dimmer 2 to ensure the dimmers are compatible with modern dimmable LED lamps and prevents them from flickering, failing to dim properly or not completely turning off!

We recommend a FIBARO Bypass is always used with the FIBARO Dimmer 2 to ensure the best experience.

The bypass simply connects to the live and neutral terminals of the light(s) being controlled by the dimmer.  Only one Bypass is needed per controlled lighting circuit. For example, a row of connected down lights only needs a Bypass adding to the circuit and not one for each downlight.  Further, the Bypass can be added to the circuit anywhere after the Dimmer, this really helps if access is difficult.  Therefore, it could be added to a downlight that is easy to reach instead of others that aren't.

The Bypass is not polarity sensitive so it doesn't matter which wire is connected to the live and neutral wires.
